Kim is a transplanted Canadian – has resided in the area for over 30 years – making this her home. She has been very supportive of various community events but she found her niche by assisting with the homeless animals of our local communities which is truly her passion in life – right up there with her husband George, 5 rescued canines and 3 cats – and a foster dog here and there.
Her years at a local shelter and small No-Kill Rescue was invaluable as it relates to experience. She continues to assist other rescues and shelters if there is placement needed or the transport of an animal is necessary to ensure their safety.
She believes Education is a huge part of being a good dog parent and also believes that Spay/Neuter offered at a reasonable cost to all pet parents is just one part of the move towards reducing the pet overpopulation in all our communities but it is also a big part.
